The KEMI Kollection Story

In 2001 I traveled to Paris to attend the Pret-a-Porter Fashion Shows for the first time. I was inspired by the energy, style and exuberance of the exhibitors as well as the diversity of the international attendees.

I began working with companies from the Philippines to design and produce dramatic and colorful jewelry made of shells, wood and metal elements. (A signature necklace of

multi-strand, multi-colour capiz shells may be the

only jewelry needed on a basic black dress!)     

Then, having studied art in England years ago,

I wanted to explore the wonderful world of textiles.I worked with weavers from India, to design a beautiful collection of original shawls. Over the years, Kemi’s shawl and scarf collections have grown, and now include fine wools, silks and silk/wool combos for the fall/winter seasons.  For the spring/summer seasons, we offer cottons and silks and import

fine linen shawls from Italy. 

The Kemi Kollection of fashion accessories is just right for the discerning woman who appreciates quality,

sophistication and artistry.
